Artur Lakomiec, Operating Partner

Mr. Lakomiec joined Highlander Partners in May 2010. Prior to joining Highlander, Mr. Lakomiec sucessfully turned around Bolix, a portfolio company of Advent international and a leading Polish manufacturer of external insulation systems, plasters and paints, which was subsequently sold to a strategic investor.  In 2005, he served as CEO/MD of Stolarka Wolomin, a window and door manufacturer, spearheading the restructuring of the company. Prior to that, he served as CEO/MD for Agnella, a textile floor covering producer, leading it through a successful strategic and operational restructuring and receiving multiple takeover inquiries from major industry players in Europe. From 1994 to 1996, Mr. Lakomiec worked at the Warsaw office of Bain & Company, the leading global strategy consultancy. 

Mr. Lakomiec holds a Master Diploma in Economics from the Warsaw School of Economics. In 2010, he earned his MBA with honours from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
