Dawid Walendowski, Managing Partner

Mr. Walendowski joined Highlander Partners in September 2008 with the mission of launching its operations in Central Europe. In 1999-2007 he worked for Enterprise Investors (EI), the leading private equity firm in the region, becoming a partner in 2005. Among other achievements at EI, Mr. Walendowski led three investments in the retail sector – Apteka 21 and Nomi in Poland, and Artima in Romania – achieving above-average returns for investors in all three. He has also served as a director of two public companies and analyzed projects in a variety of sectors in Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, and the Baltic states. Prior to EI , Mr. Walendowski worked for Rabobank Poland in its corporate finance advisory team.

Mr. Walendowski holds a Master of International Affairs degree with a concentration in International Economic Policy as well as a BA in History, both from Columbia University in New York.
