Jeff L. Hull, Managing Partner

Mr. Hull joined Highlander Partners in 2009 to focus on private equity investments in manufacturing, distribution, and service companies.  In 2012, Mr. Hull was named Managing Partner of Highlander’s U.S. Private Equity Group.  Mr. Hull most recently served as Vice-Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Equipment and Supply Corporation, one of the largest providers in the U. S. of design services, equipment, and supplies to the foodservice industry.  Strategic operated 10 facilities in 6 states with approximately $300 million in annual revenues.  Previously, Mr. Hull was Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Atrium Companies, Inc., one of the largest building product manufacturers in the United States, with approximately $800 million in annual revenues.  Atrium had approximately 7,000 employees with 56 facilities in 26 states, Mexico, and China.  Prior to Atrium, Mr. Hull held management positions with AmVestors Financial Corporation (NYSE: AMV) and Deloitte & Touche.

Mr. Hull serves as Chairman of Lund International Holding Company and Ascend Custom Extrusions LLC.  He also currently serves as a director of American Leather, Inc. and People Answers and has previously served as a directed of Diagnostic Management Group, Shelter Distribution, Inc., Strategic, and Atrium.  Mr. Hull is currently chair of the Board of Trustees of Ottawa University and previously served as Trustee at Greenhill School.

Mr. Hull holds a Master in Business Administration with honors from Emporia State University and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Accounting (with distinction) from Ottawa University.  Mr. Hull previously was a certified public accountant.
