Mr. Burns joined Highlander Partners in 2010 and is focused on evaluating investment opportunities, due diligence efforts, transaction execution, and portfolio monitoring. Prior to Highlander, he was employed in the Corporate Finance department of Stephens Inc., where he was promoted to Associate upon completion of Stephens’ investment banking analyst program. While at Stephens, he supported the Industrials Group on a wide range of transactions with a focus on the transportation and logistics, basic materials, building products, and construction services sectors.

Mr. Burns graduated cum laude from the Sam M. Walton College of Business Honors Program at the University of Arkansas with a degree in finance.
